Rüya Baraz is an award-winning creative technologist and visual designer based in Istanbul. She creates augmented-reality experiences, smart-glasses prototypes and CGI work that bring digital ideas into physical spaces.

She began her studies in architecture at Carnegie Mellon University and later completed her degree in Visual Communication Design at Bahçeşehir University. Her path into technology began in 2019, when she started experimenting with augmented reality as a hobby and gradually taught herself the technical tools needed to build her ideas.

Since then, her work has expanded from camera-based AR into location-based experiences, wearable computing, interactive prototypes and CGI. She has created work for brands, artists and cultural institutions, with projects receiving awards, platform recognition and invitations from Meta, Snap and Lenslist.
